The Work in Water consortium began in 2007 as a collaborative effort to increase awareness, training and placement of individuals in water-related professions.  Spearheaded by GateWay Community College, Work in Water is comprised of 19 cities, public agencies, corporations, organizations, and institutions of higher education working toward a common goal of increasing the number of water treatment professionals in Arizona.

By raising the awareness of available careers in all water-related fields and preparing professionals to fill those roles, the Work in Water consortium ensures the future and continuous stewardship of water as our most precious resource.
